WHO ARE THE CLEVELAND PHILHARMONIC CHOIR?

 

We are a choral society based in the Cleveland area of north-east England. Our 100 or so members are drawn from the area including Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington, Hartlepool, North Yorkshire and south Durham.

APPLICATIONS FOR RÔLE OF MUSIC DIRECTOR FROM APRIL 2025

Cleveland Philharmonic Choir is starting the process of selecting and appointing our next MD, following John Forsyth's planned retirement after his farewell concert with us in April 2025.

RETIREMENT OF JOHN FORSYTH MBE
Our MD for the last 25 years, John Forsyth, has decided that he will retire in 2025 after our April concert. We will send him off with our thanks for quarter of a century of wonderful music making.


 


We have a busy term ahead, working on music for the summer concert "Thank you for the Music". These will be pieces that we have enjoyed singing with John Forsyth, The concert will be on Friday 28th June in Stockton Baptist Church - see our Concerts page.
